Chevron Australia is developing the Gorgon Project, Barrow Island LNG Plant which comprises of 15MTPA processing plant to process gas feed from the Gorgon and Jansz fields.
Barrow Island LNG Jetty is located off the north west coast of Western Australia, approximately 140 km west of Dampier and 15km north-east of Onslow.
Saipem Leighton Consortium (SLC) is undertaking the design and construction of the LNG Jetty and Marine Works package of Chevron's Gorgon Project.
SLC has awarded NorCE Offshore the installation of LNG Jetty and Marine Structure, including the PMT and installation using Derrick Barge NorCE Endeavour to perform a total of 113 lifts. Heaviest lift being the Road Way J Structure weighing 574MT (inclusive of rigging) located at T14-M1.
OCS was subcontracted through NorCE Offshore for preparation of anchor patterns, lift charts, mooring analysis and engineered lift studies for the113 lifts for the LNG Jetty Construction.
